Serum samples from twenty captured common palm civets (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) from different areas of Alfonso and Indang, Cavite were investigated for the pressence of antibodies to Leptospira spp., Toxoplasma gondii, canine distemper and corona virus. All common palm civets were shown to have antibodies against Leptospira spp., Toxoplasma gondii, canine distemper and corona virus and highest overall serologic prevalence (45%) for Toxooplasma gondii and lowest (5%) for leptospira spp. There was a higher mean WBC count (9.1 x 10^3µL ) for sample tesed positive for th antibody of one or more pathagens compared to those samples that tested negative for any antiboby for the selected diseases (7.41 x 10^3µL). On the other hand, the Paked Cell Volume (PCV) of the positive samples for the antibody of one or more of the selected diseases had lower value (34%) compared wiith those that tested negative for any of the diseases (39.7%).
