Personal computers were introduced into the classroom, either as
teaching aids or as a platform for self- study. Computer literacy has
become a point of interest in educational research. It was defined
as knowledge of computer features, capabilities, and applications,
as well as an ability to apply this knowledge to the skilled, fruitful
use of computer applications appropriate to individual social
responsibility. It plays a progressively critical part in people's lives
and financial advancement. Computer literacy is characterized as
the information and the ability to productively utilize computers
and information innovation with other applications related to
computers and so the information and the ability to utilize
innovation proficiently. This study aimed to explore how the
respondents (students) described their experience in terms of
computer literacy at PIT Tabango. Results show that all the
respondents were middle-skilled, middle-proficient, and middle-
engaged in terms of computer literacy. Issues and challenges found
three (3) responses that are significant. Appropriate
recommendations and management interventions have been
constituted to address such issues. Addressing these issues and
challenges requires a holistic approach that involves collaboration
between educators, administrators, policymakers, and the broader
community. By prioritizing computer literacy education and
investing in the necessary resources and support systems, PIT
Tabango can empowerits students to succeed in the digital age and
beyond.
