Graduate tracer studies provide essential feedback on program effectiveness, labor market alignment, and
graduates’ employment outcomes, informing curriculum and service improvements. This study utilized a
descriptive survey with a longitudinal approach, employing the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)
standardized tracer study questionnaire to collect demographic and employment data from Bachelor of
Secondary Education (BSEd) major in Mathematics graduates of Palompon Institute of Technology–
Tabango from Academic Year 2017–2018 to 2023–2024. Data were gathered through multiple platforms,
including social media, email, Google Forms, and phone calls, and analyzed using descriptive statistics such
as frequency, percentage, and mean. Findings indicate that the majority of BSEd Mathematics graduates
are currently employed, reflecting the program’s effectiveness in preparing graduates for professional
practice. Most employed respondents work in the education sector, particularly in teaching positions,
demonstrating strong alignment between the program’s curriculum and labor market needs. These results
suggest that the competencies and training acquired during undergraduate studies are relevant and
applicable to the graduates’ chosen profession. The high employment rate underscores the program’s
success in producing job-ready and employable graduates who meet the continuing demand for
mathematics teachers. Although a small proportion of graduates encountered employment challenges, the
overall outcomes remain positive, highlighting the quality of instruction, curriculum relevance, and
practical training. Overall, the program contributes meaningfully to workforce development and supports
national educational goals.
