This research aimed to develop an automated voting system for student elections o MSEUF-Lucena City. The automated system was developed following the phases of Rapid Application Development (RAD). The first stage is requirements planning where election related documents were reviewed and found out that Election Code and IT set-up of the university were used in designing the features and functionalities of the automated voting system. The iterative process of User Design and Construction phases showcased the main development of the automated voting system. After the development, AutoVote was subjected to small scale mock election as the pilot testing. It mimics the previously concluded student elections participated by representatives of various departments in the university as voters. In the pilot testing, the small flaws of the system were addressed and the average voting time was identified. Aside from the election related documents, data gathered in the pilot testing contributed in constructing the technical set-up and guidelines. Lastly, the system was evaluated using ISO 9126 software quality standards by the concurrent election officers (USCOMELEC and DSCOMELEC). Overall, it was rated “Very Much Attainable” by the evaluators showing that AutoVote attained its intended features as automated voting system for MSEUF.
