This research aimed to provide web-based instructional materials for BSIT-ETEEAP program of the College of Computer Studies in MSEUF Lucena City through the use of internet technology. Specifically, it seeks to (1) analyze the existing problems encountered by the ETEEAP assessors in the delivery and management of instructions to the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology ETEEAP students; (2) design a learning environment system for the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology ETEEAP program of the College of Computer Studies in MSEUF-Lucena City; and (3) develop a learning environment system for the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology ETEEAP program of the College of Computer Studies in MSEUF-Lucena City.
The concept of this study is reasonably extensive which is concerned with the design and development of a virtual learning management system that enhanced the traditional classroom-based instruction of the ETEEAP BSIT program for the College of Computer Studies in MSEUF. This concentrated in providing a learning management system suited for the ETEEAP degree program.
The researchers utilized the Research and Development (R & D) method. Research and Development method is a technological research and deals with engineering and technical problems. It takes the findings generated by basic and applied research and uses them to produce high quality products. The researchers used the E-Learning Development Methodology because this development process is carefully engineered to place the learner at the focus of the e-Learning program.
Through the analysis and review the researchers had conducted, the system can render more advantages to its target users. It has course management features that are inherent within the program. It can be formatted to deliver a topic, a weekly basis, or a discussion-focused social format. There is a flexible array of course activities, such as forums, journals, quizzes, resources, choices, surveys, assignments, chats and workshops.
The system is dynamic and receptive to the changing needs of its users. It can be reviewed and reassessed from time to time to keep it well updated with the current profile information specified on its online pages. And, the system runs smoothly under all possible circumstances to ensure that the system runs and operates as it is designed and planned.
