HaNDA is a collaborative project of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC4A) member agencies and initiated by DOST4A to enhance disaster-related bulletin dissemination and field reporting up to municipal level.
Output: Development and implementation of an information system which will:
• Disseminate disaster-related bulletins and/or reports via the Internet or Text (SMS): Weather Bulletin (PAGASA), Earthquake, Volcano, Tsunami (PHIVOLCS), Situation Report (OCD 4A)
• Provide a feedback system for observed data (rain intensity, wind strength, flood level) and short situation reports of the local authorities
• Generate visual representation of rainfall and flood levels in CALABARZON region which provides an overview of the weather condition
• Store weather-related data from ASTI-DOST hydrometeorological sensors deployed in the region
• Serve as repository of CALABARZON hazard maps and disaster-related information materials
• Act as an Early Warning System for alerting LGUs for possible flooding and landslides.
