This study aimed to assess the different available resources and support system for different livelihood options of the people of Verde Island, with the end view of identifying the best sustainable livelihood options which would help to increase the income of the residents. This study employed key informant interviews, focus group discussions, individual survey, direct observations, and secondary data analysis to determine the available resources and available support system. A self-made training needs assessment instrument was used to determine the knowledge and skills of the participants.
