Calumpang River is one of the most important natural resources in Batangas City that is now greatly affected by its rapid and dramatic development. The addition of organic materials such as industrial waste and farm effluent conspicuously aggravates the condition of the river. Over time, people are also becoming careless and are known to throw rubbish directly into rivers. This study aimed to determine the factors that affected the implementation and the effectiveness of the rehabilitation plan. It also evaluated the status of the IECC framework of the campaign.
