This study focused on the collection of information on the socio-economic characteristics of the people considered as beneficiaries of the aquaculture industry in the six barangay of Talisay, Batangas namely Aya, Quiling, Tumaway, Tabla, San Isidro and Sampaloc. The benificiaries were grouped according to those given with fish cage permits, residents of Talisay which serve as service providers and those service providers outside Talisay.
