Analysed and assessed some common assumptions about the link between teacher’s qualifications which represent desired teacher qualities and their students’ achievements. Proved the difference on the performance of high school students under the instruction of specialist and non-specialist educators; that is, teachers handling their area of expertise, specialization or major and the teachers do not handle their area of expertise.
