This study aimed to assess Waist-Height Ratio (WHtR) as probable determinant of Type II Diabetes Mellitus. Data on weight, height and waist circumference were taken from the respondents specifically newly diagnosed diabetic adult patients in selected hospitals and clinics around Batangas province. Percentage and ranking of adults by level of Body Mass Index and Waist-Height Ratio were generated together with the classification into the cut-off levels. Correlations were done between anthropometric indices. Results showed that all the respondents were high risk, 100 percent respectively. It is based on the cut-off levels of Waist-Height Ratio given by the Food and Nutrition Research Institute.
