This study focused on the Effectiveness of Nutrition Education Program for Pregnant Mothers Implemented by Barangay Nutrition Scholar in Selected Barangays of Batangas City. Specifically, this study sought to answer to the following questions on what is the profile of the two sets of respondents- age, civil status, source of income and educational attainment. Also, the profile of the Nutrition Education Program- Kinds of Nutrition Education, Frequency of Implementation, Duration of Teaching, Strategies in teaching and Tools or Materials in delivering Nutrition Education Program. It posted a null hypothesis between the profile of the Barangay Nutrition Scholar and the extent of Nutrition Education Program implementation, the extent of Nutrition Education Program Implementation and the extent of participation of the pregnant mothers in Nutrition Education Program. It is shown that the relationship between the responses of Barangay Nutrition Scholar and the pregnant mothers in all the said Nutrition Education Programs has a significant relationship thus, the hypothesis is being rejected. This means that the responses of BNS may not be related or the same as the response of the community. In the extent of participation, the relationship between the responses of BNS and Pregnant mothers has no significant relationship thus, the hypothesis is rejected. To enhance the Nutrition Education Programs, implementation and participation must continue by having an effective and efficient educator to provide a quality and positive learning outcome. The researchers end up conducting seminar for BNS since according to Mrs. Fausta Guico, BNS from Brgy. San Miguel, she attended seminar once a year with duration of one week and according to Mrs. Canorah Munoz, BNS from Brgy. Banaba South, she attended seminar twice a year with 2 to 3 days duration
