The researchers conducted the study entitled The Economic and Social Effect of Sublian Festival in Batangas City to assess it demographic profile in terms of age, sex, civil status, educational attainment and types of respondents and its variables in terms of social network, relationship and link of resource. The study used descriptive method to obtain the necessary information. The researchers also used convince sampling design as main tool in gathering the respondents of the study which was comprised of 100 respondents (40) local residents and (54) students. The objective of the study was to provide and to know about festival. It must have been because there is a tourism value in the said festival. It must have been because there is a tourism value in the said festival and must be included as an important annual activity. It will have an economic effect, not only to the local government but to the local business people. They also aimed to determined the economic and social effect, of Sublian Festival the status of the municipality of Batangas City and its affection in terms of social network, relationship and link of resources. Also in accordance to Sublian Festival on how to maintain the towns culture entertainment statistical methods were used to get the percentage and one way analysis of variance to interpret the data. It was found out that the must of the respondents were at the age of 18-35 years old with the frequency of 74 and total percentage of 74. Majority of the respondents were female with the percentage of 68 or 68 percent. In terms of its civil status, the respondents were separated with percentage of 64 or 64 percent. In terms of its educational attainment majority were high schools as it obtained the highest frequency 52 or 52 percent. When it comes to their type of respondent, majority were students with the frequency 54 or 54 percent. In assessing the social effect of Sublian Festival the respondents agreed in terms of social network with the composite mean of 3.44. In terms of relationship they also agreed with a composite mean of 3.45 and when it comes to link of resources, the respondents agreed that it has economic and social effect in Sublian Festival with composite mean of 3.46. There was a significant different between educational attainment in terms of social network, relationship. The proposed strategies may sustain the economic and social effect of Sublian festival in Batangas City and should be conducted to have a deeper on the study.
