The researchers chose the study "Acceptability of Green Practice of Accommodation Establishments of Talisay, Batangas." This study entitled "Acceptability of Green Practices of Accommodation Establishments in Talisay" sought to identify acceptability of Green Practices of accommodation establishments in Talisay, Batangas.This is conducted not only to identify the level of acceptability of green practices but also the perceived effects and benefits of practices. Specifically, this study sought to identify the profile of the accommodation establishments in terms of type of accommodation, years of operations, and number of employees; to identify the acceptability levels for green practices in terms of recycling and reuse, water efficiency and conservation, lighting, transportation, and purchasing; to identify if there were any significant differences on the acceptability levels when grouped according to profile variables; and propose strategies to enhance the acceptability levels. The respondents were the manager/owner of the accommodation establishments. This study took the descriptive method of research. It was accomplished because of the contribution of the 30 accommodation establishments in Talisay, Batangas. It used a self-structured survey questionnaire to collect data with 30 managers and owners of the accommodation establishments as the respondents. The pre-survey was done at Mabini, Batangas to test the reliability of the questionnaire. Statistical treatments used include frequency distribution, weighted mean, composite mean, and analysis of variance. Results show that majority of the establishments were resorts, have been operating for 5 - 10 years, and have 11 - 20 employees; recycling and reuse practices were highly accepted, water efficiency and conservation practices were highly accepted, lighting practices were moderately accepted, transportation practices were moderately accepted, and purchasing practices were highly accepted; there were no significant difference on the acceptability levels when across all profile variables; and strategies to enhance acceptability of green practices were proposed.
