The study was conducted to assess the procedure for the bulk and break bulk cargo clearance of selected PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority) Locators in Batangas province. This determined the profile of the PEZA locators in terms of types of cargoes, years of operation, average number of imports per year and number of employees. The study also aimed to answer if there is significant difference in the assessment of the procedure for the bulk and break bulk cargo clearance of selected PEZA locators when grouped according to profile and to proposed plan of action for the implementation of measures to maintain and improve the management of the economic zones. The descriptive method of research was utilized in the study through the use of questionnaire which had undergone validation. Relative frequency was used to determine the profile of the PEZA locators in terms of type of cargoes, years of operation, average No. of Imports per year, no. of employees. Chi square test was used to determine significant difference between the effectiveness of the procedure for the bulk and break bulk cargo clearance enhancement program (CMO No. 18-2010) to selected PEZA locators in Batangas Province when the respondents are grouped according to their profile variable. The data were collected from the responses from the chosen employees of Taihan Lima Technology, Hitachi Cable, Sakamoto, Keppel and AG
