Philippines is one of the top quality cocoa source and served the need of growing demand for chocolate in Asia. In response to the growing demand of tablea, the researchers found that there is a need for advancement in molding tablea for faster production. In line with this, the researchers aimed to provide a molding apparatus as an alternative way of molding tablea. The study consisted of the components of the equipment, material specifications and energy requirements. Moreover, the comparison of the manual and automated molding in terms of percent yield and operating time were included. The operation and cleaning procedures were also provided. The tablea molding machine assembly included the feeder, hopper, body, pneumatic cylinder, molder, conveyor, electric motor, belt assembly, circuit breaker, blower and body frame. The molder has an opening of 10.00 inches x 14.00 inches dimension and with an area of 140 in2. The conveyor has a length of 60 inches and a width of 13 inches. The motor supplies 1.5Hp/hr which provides enough mechanical power to the machine to enable it to operate. In terms of percent yield, using three trials, the percentage yield of the Tablea molding machine using 1000 g of feed for trial 1 is 92.67%, trial 2 is 91.86 % and trial 3 is 92.42% respectively. While for using 5000 g of feed, trial 1 resulted to 91.89 %, trial 2 is 93.67% and 92.38% for trial 3. In terms of operating time, using three trials, the operating time obtained using two batch of feed, 5000g and another 5000g. In manually molded tablea, 30.21 min in the first set and 27.12 min in the second set a total of 57minutes and 33 seconds. Using tablea molding machine in first set 15.19min and for the second set is 13.31min a total of 28 minutes and 50 seconds. Based on the result, Tablea molding machine was faster in terms of time. For the computation of the determination for significant difference for the characteristics of the manually molded tablea between tablea from Tablea molding machine used the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). For the characteristics of the molded tablea, pH have a p-value of 0.0035, while the moisture content have a p-value of 0.0293, crude fat have a p-value of 0.0078, and weight have a p-value of 0.0018. The results under the characteristics of the molded table have a p-value less than 0.05 level, which means that there is a significant difference.
