Energy audit supports the idea of energy conservation as it gives data and information about the certain institutions energy consumption. In this study, hospitals are helped to analyze their monthly energy consumption. The findings of the study will help for the analyzation of the hospitals’ energy monthly consumption. This study aimed to assess the efficiency of the usage of electrical energy of Dr. Mario Bejasa General Hospital. More so, this also endeavored to identify the improvements needed for energy measures as it deals with the determination of the energy wasted at energy cost. According to the medical director of the said hospital, they experienced a sudden increase in their monthly electrical consumption when their electric power distributor clustered and changed their electric meter. Therefore, they wanted to find a way on how they can lessen monthly consumption of energy through conservation strategy. The study therefore aimed to conduct an electrical energy audit which can help the hospital analyze and understand their monthly electrical energy consumption and to find opportunities for improvement and name energy saving measures. Also, this study can helped the hospital to know the underlying reasons in the sudden energy consumption escalation and if it involved discrepancy. Moreover, the study aimed to assist the administration of the needed institution in their financial gain through energy conservation. The study covered the investigation of the hospital’s present and past energy consumptions, inspection and maintenance of small and large appliances and their medical equipment.
