The main purposed of the study is to design a thermoplastic recycling machine trough extrusion process that will produce a product of fibre strands that can use as alternative material for insulation or packaging. This can help to reduce the amount of the thermoplastic materials waste in the industry. Extrusion is a process that use in molding to create materials of a fixed cross-sectional profile. The process can be done with the material at high and low temperature. Unlike other manufacturing process it has the ability to create very complex cross-sections and it can work materials that are brittle. The design was based on the developed mathematical model for the process of the thermoplastic recycling system and simulated on the software of the LabView, to evaluate the process of the system. Overall this research demonstrated the potential of helping to create a thermoplastic recycling machine through extrusion process by the mathematical model computation and design of this research. With this research, it will help to lessen the waste of thermoplastic material in the industry and help on preserving our environment.
