A total of 45 ECM seedlings were used in the experiment. Data revealed plants treated with Vermicompost (T2 or SGS + 75% VC) showed better growth in terms of height, produced more number of leaves, improved root length of Makapuno seedlings and were heavier. Further, plants with 50% Vermicompost (T1 or SGS + 50% VC) had higher girth size. As to length of leaves, the result was non-significant meaning all treatments yielded the same length of leaves in all plants. Highly recommended was more in depth study of using Vermicompost for Makapuno plants to include parameters other than vegetative growth.
