Descriptive survey was employed utilizing questionnaire-checklist and informal to interview to countercheck their responses. Professional development revealed that 9.8% and 8.5% have doctoral degrees and doctoral level respectively. 7.3% obtained additional eligibility; 42.7% are always sent to seminars and 75.6% attended less than 5 per year; and 67% attended training once a year. Only 22% conducted research and extension; 50% attended conferences with 11% served as presenters. Almost half of the respondents (47.6%) were promoted once; 13.4% more than twice; 76.8% experienced salary increase once; and 14.6% change jobs due to job opportunity. Significant associations were present in seminars vs. promotion, remuneration and job opportunity; training vs. promotion and remuneration; research vs. remuneration; extension vs. promotion; and additional eligibility vs. job opportunity.
