The Mediating Effect of Positive Emotion to Community Resilience and Individual Resilience

The study utilized the total population of 99 Families and randomly selected one (1) adult representative as the respondent. From the total enumeration, eighty seven (87) were qualified as respondents and twelve (12) were not included. Results demonstrate partial mediation since a value of 0.38 is revealed within the affect of community resilience to individual resilience while positive emotions mediate. The study recommends to psychologist, educators, government and Non-Government Organizations to promote positive emotions that predict individual resilience and establish a resilient community.
