The study assesses the factors affecting the effective dissemination of fisheries laws in District 1 of the province of Iloilo, Philippines. It aims 1.) to describe the dissemination of the Fisheries Code and municipal fisheries ordinance (MFOs) to the fisherfolk; 2.) to determine the level of awareness on the fisheries code and MFOs among fisherfolk; and, 3.) to identify critical dissemination factors affecting awareness levels on fisheries laws among fisherfolk.
