This tracer studyaims to find out the employability of the IT graduates of the MSEUF-College of Computer Studies from the 2004 to 2008.
Descriptive survey method research was used to obtain information concerning the current status of the IT graduates for a total of fifty (50) out of the 281 graduates based from the master list of graduates from school year 2004 to 2008.
The result of the survey revealed that salaries and benefits were great motivator for an individual to stay in his present job. Majority of the respondents had already changed jobs, usually in search of higher paying jobs, they were able to find jobs fast because the University official in-charge of job placement was able to arrange with companies that hires the University’s graduates, they change their job due to salaries and benefits and they found their first job skills where the factors that the respondents attribute to the relevance of the curriculum. Regarding the status of their employment, majority are presently employed on a regular or permanent status with their present occupation as secretary/clerks and data encoder, a few affirmed that it was their first job related to college course that landed a job for not less than a year and majority of the respondents landed on a professional, technical or supervisory and rank or clerical and being paid of twenty thousand and below
