Gender-related violence, GRV in schools and / or workplaces is not limited to sexual or physical assaults; it can happen in many forms. Victims can be men/boys, women/girls, and homosexuals: gays and lesbians. Gender-related violence against teachers has become a silent national crisis (under-reported cases mainly due to cultural orientation, i.e close family ties, save-face attitude, and the like) given that it is largely uncharted territory.
