Disclosed are methods of preparing jackfruit wine containing 1 kg. of Jackfruit pulp, 750g. to 1 kg. of sugar, 2 liters of water and ½ teaspoon of yeast. Said process comprising the following: adding enough water to cover 1 kg. of ripe jackfruit bulbs and cook well on slow fire then beat well in the mixer (this is jackfruit pulp and it should weigh 1 kg); making a syrup of sugar and water; dissolving yeast in ½ cup warm water; mixing yeast solution and the jackfruit pulp with the sugar syrup and pouring into a clean sterilized bottle; closing the mouth of the bottle and securing tightly with the cloth tied over the mouth; keeping aside for two weeks; straining and keeping for another three days.
