LPG gas leak detector using Arduino with SMS notification in an efficient device that detects gas leakage inside the residents' homes. MQ2 sensor is present in the project, it is used to dtect gas leakage. The project aslo uses GSM module to send SMS to the registered numbers on that device. If a gas leakage has been detected, it will immediately trigger the buzzer alarm and inform the registered numbers through SMS about the situation and perform countermeasures and also there is a link for GPS so that they can view where the exact place of the incidents. The researchers utilized the descritpive method. They tackled the precise procedures in gathering data, materials and methods needed for the development of the project. The study also involved the Requirements Documentation, Design of Software, System, Product and Process, Development and Testing, and the description of the prototype. The findings of the study with regards to design, reliability and functionalities were having a strongly agree overall results. Therefore we cponclude that our device is very effective and it is recommended for use.
