Recently, Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia reported that the likelihood that an adolescent has started childbearing also increases dramatically with age based on more recent reports and consider the situation as a national social issue. It is for the reason that there are already numerous studies and statistics deducing in to the idea that early pregnancy among young women jeopardized their future. Stereotypes and negative connotations come along to these young women as they are considered as a burden of society. However, there are also literatures supporting that number of these young mothers pursue their study and gain a career of their own. In view with this, the hermeneutic phenomenological study attempt to provide an in-depth analysis on the lived experiences of pregnant college students. With the interviews, recordings, and journal entries, the researcher is able to come up with several themes that strengthen the claim about this young individuals that their situation doesn’t always end up to the stereotypical assumptions of the society. Rather, they are more willing and motivated to strive better in life with the right amount of access to different services and support from the people around them.
