The purpose of this study was to determine the salary and job satisfaction of the faculty. The researchers hypothesized salary satisfaction with job satisfaction, academic rank and educational attainment. A questionnaire was administered to a total of 53 respondents. Out of that 53 usable surveys were analyzed with microsoft excel and SPSS to test the hypotheses of the study. Findings showed that the faculty were satisfied with their salary and job. Further, the salary satisfaction was correlated with Job satisfaction, academic rank and educational attainment. It implies that higher rewards and satisfied employees in work organizations play a major role both in the promotion of employee job satisfaction and consequently higher productivity in organizations. We believe that an important subject like salary and job satisfaction particularly is a rarely studied context it could have involved more participants in order to get a better generalization of the study. Based on this, future studies could explore several areas of research that can make more valuable contributions to Salary and Job satisfaction and employee rewards systems.
