Smart Value Chain project funded by DOST, aims to sell fresh produce through startups, it also aims to process the tilapia’s danggit-inspired version known as tilapia danggit or tilanggit, and process the vegetables into high-value products such as vacuum fried and pickled vegetables, and kimchi among others. The product acceptability, nutritional value, and cost-benefit analysis will be conducted for each developed product. Finally, technology profiles, branding, and label designs will be developed for the products as part of the VSU-TBI assistance to startups.
