The study aimed to document the best practices in the implementation and enforcement of ecological solid
waste management by the Local Government Units (LGUs) in the selected Municipalities of Leyte. Along with this, it provides a comprehensive analysis of the factors and challenges in the implementation and enforcement of RA 9003 in the grassroots level, with the goal of offering an actionable recommendation as well as propose viable livelihood initiatives and policy enhancements tailored to the contexts of the respective municipalities in the province of Leyte for resilient and improved solid waste management practices.
