The study is an initial step in collectively generating baseline knowledge and information on climate change
(CC) adaptation capacity of vulnerable local communities, particularly in areas often devastated by typhoon, and
other climate-induced disasters. Each Local Government Unit’s (LGU’s) climate adaptation profile can then be
shared among concerned organizations, researchers, and development agents, and eventually catalyze
partnerships and coordination in scaling-up support for vulnerable local communities and eventually build resiliency.
