The research project (Phase II) is all about expanding the suitability of liquid nutrient formulations for vegetables to other horticultural crops such as herbs and spices which can possibly be grown under hydroponic system. Responses of Celery, Lemon Balm, Malabar Spinach, Peppermint, Spearmint, and Stevia on inorganic and organic nutrient solutions in aggregate hydroponic system were already evaluated, reported and presented in the previous Annual In-House Reviews of the Visayas State Universities.
Nonetheless, this report focuses on the suitability of inorganic nutrient formulation and organic nutrient solutions derived from acacia, malunggay, and madre de agua as nutrient solutions for hydroponic production of Oregano and Sweet Basil under Visca agro-climatic condition.
