The project aims to understand groundwater's patterns, relationships, and spatial aspects,
including developing IoT-based water quality monitoring systems essential for improved water
management. The project has three components: 1) Multitemporal Watershed Characterization
and Groundwater Assessment in Leyte Province, which aims to study the physical, biological, and
socio-economic characteristics of the watersheds in Leyte Province; 2) Spatial and Multi-temporal
Assessment of Groundwater Quality in Leyte Province, aims to evaluate the quality of groundwater
for household use; and 3) Development and Evaluation of IoT-based Monitoring Systems of
Domestic Use Water Source, aims to explore, develop and test IoT-based systems that
continuously monitor water quality in real-time.
