This study examined the internationalization initiatives of health-related programs in higher education
institutions (HEIs) across Eastern Visayas, Philippines. Utilizing both descriptive correlational and
comparative research designs, data were gathered from key academic officials using a validated Likert-scale
questionnaire. The analysis focused on internationalization mobility (home-based and cross-border) and Key
Result Areas (KRAs), including governance, faculty development, academic instruction, research, student
development, linkages, and accreditation. Findings revealed moderate levels of internationalization with
notable disparities between government and private institutions. These results underscore the need for
strategic planning and capacity building to elevate the global readiness of health education in the region.
