This study aimed to determine the leadership behavior of elementary school principals as basis for enhancement of elementary education program.
The study showed that most of the respondents could be characterized as transformational leaders as well as transactional leaders. Some could also be thought as charismatic leader. The respondents had a very positive insight for Elementary Education and they are not autocratic leader. The positive effect of the leadership behavior for the enhancement of Elementary education program were having trust and respect for fellow workers, display of mutual support/ cooperation for fellow workers and positive response to the needs of Elementary children.
