This study endeavors to identify the factors influencing job satisfaction and the impact of job descriptions on employee performance. The study engaged employees from various business establishments in Palompon, Leyte, utilizing a descriptive research design. Research questionnaires, sourced from two different references, were employed, with responses measured on a 5-point Likert scale and data gathered through purposive sampling. The analysis was conducted using the weighted mean. Survey results reveal that various indicators of job satisfaction, including personnel policy regulation, job security, the nature of the job itself, management supervision, compensation packages, the working environment, fringe benefits, and interpersonal relationships, significantly influence job satisfaction and job descriptions, subsequently affecting employee performance. The study indicates general satisfaction among employees, asserting that these factors positively impact their job satisfaction and performance, aligning with their job descriptions. Recommendations based on the findings include recognizing individual differences, aligning people with suitable jobs, incorporating employee participation in goal-setting and decision-making, providing personalized rewards and recognition, ensuring competitive financial incentives, furnishing adequate working equipment, offering training opportunities for skill development, and consistently applying personnel policy regulations across the company. These measures aim to enhance employee satisfaction, job performance, and overall organizational effectiveness.
