The purpose of this study was to determine the employment characteristics of teacher education graduates. Specifically, this study explored the graduates’ perception of the relevance of the different learning areas of their chosen curriculum program to their current employment. The study utilized a descriptive survey design from 105 respondents from the different programs of the College of Teacher Education. Moreover, the result also showed that majority of the reasons for taking Teacher Education Program was their strong passion for the profession. Further, it was also found out in the result that respondents were regular or permanent and most of them are in the teaching field with a monthly gross earning of PHP 15,000 to less than PHP 20,000. Furthermore, the respondents generally satisfied with the delivery of the undergraduate degree programs of the College of Teacher Education. Likewise, most of the respondents found that the different learning areas offered by the College of Teacher Education were highly relevant. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that the school administrators and curriculum planners should review these suggestions and use these as bases in formulating strategies that can make teacher education curricular offerings of the Institute more responsive to the needs of the
students and the employers.
