Performance management is a continual procedure of identifying, measuring, and developing the performance of employees in a team as performance is aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. The purpose of the study is to determine the status of performance management system implementation and its relationship with the level of organizational commitment of faculty. The researcher utilized a descriptive-correlational design. A sample of 108 were obtained from five (5) university using stratified random sampling. Results revealed that most of the faculty in the SUC were doctorate degree holder, most of them perceived that the level of PMS implementation were “to a greater extent”, and their level of organizational commitment were on average level of commitment. There was a significant relationship between PMS implementation and the level of organizational commitment of the faculty. Therefore, based on the findings PMS implementation were properly implemented and the level of commitment of the faculty were generally on the average. Furthermore, the administration may consider objective PMS implementation and sustained monitoring to generally obtains objective output and reliable outcomes to foster retention and rewards to deserving faculty.
