Academic institutions were adversely impacted by the lockdowns and movement restrictions imposed by the governments during the pandemic. With such emergent issues, there is a need to have academic leaders’ possessing better leadership efficacy that withstand challenges, as well as appropriate skill in the implementation of curricular program in the academic institution they lead. It is in this context that this study examined the leadership efficacy of academic heads in the implementation of the Learning Continuity Plan (LCP) among SUCs in Region 8 . The study utilized the descriptive-correlational research design with a motive of predicting outcomes since this method describes the variables, the relationships that occurs naturally between and among them, and to secure the effect of one variable to the other. The following were the results of the analyses and interpretations made on the data gathered: The leadership efficacy level of the identified academic heads of Leyte, Southern Leyte and Biliran provinces were categorized as highly efficacious leaders. Moreover, the learning continuity plan was highly implemented. The leadership efficacy of academic heads have significant impact on the implementation of a learning continuity plan. A leader’s effectiveness in leading and managing change can affect the success of the plan in several ways. Leaders with high efficacy are able to articulate a clear vision for the learning continuity plan, which helps to motivate and inspire their team. The implementation of a learning continuity plan is crucial in ensuring that teaching and learning activities can continue in the face of disruptions, such as natural disaster, pandemics or other emergencies. Based from the findings, it is recommended that: Academic heads should involve other stakeholders such as faculty, parents, administrators and even students in crafting their learning continuity plan, It is also recommended to utilize the training and development plan as proposed by the researcher.
